RE: Jones County Supervisor District 4 Vacancy Appointment

The Board of Supervisor vacancy committee pursuant to Iowa Code Section 69.14A accepted applications and held public candidate interviews for the Board of Supervisors District 4 vacancy. The committee was very fortunate to have six interested candidates that all presented themselves in a very professional matter and had many qualifications for the position. Many factors were considered when making the appointment decision including application materials, interview responses, and public comment. The committee appoints Darrick Hall to the Board of Supervisors District 4 to fill a vacancy for the remainder of the term expiring January 1, 2027. Thank you to all the candidates for the time you invested in this process.
