Boat renewal time has arrived!

• Boat, canoe and personal watercraft registrations will expire on April 30, 2025.
  • The $5.00 penalty fee will not be added to the renewal transaction until July 1 of 2025.
    • However, vessels with expired registrations cannot be used on public waters.
• Boats can be renewed at any County Recorder office. They cannot be renewed online.
• A vessel hard card is available for purchase. The hard card can be used in place of the registration while boating.
  • The hard card cannot be used to transfer ownership.

You may renew in person at the Jones County Recorder’s office from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except at the end of the month.
